CERTIFIED HEALTHY WORKING CONDITIONS
In the attempt to pursue our values, we have implemented a working system of prevention and safety that guarantees healthy working conditions, ruled by specific norms, to our employees.
The first international standard relating to occupational health and safe working conditions is the UNI ISO 45001 certification, issued in 2018. This law aims at:
– Establishing good practices to improve safety on places of work
– Reducing risks
– Improving workers’ health and well-being.
It is therefore a ruling scheme that we chose to follow, in order to ensure our employees’ a safe and comfort workplace in our almond processing industry. A Real, tangible and concrete management plan that consolidates and safeguards our working community.
HOW IS UNI ISO 45001: 2018 APPLIED TO OUR BUSINESS?
The UNI ISO 45001: 2018 was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), with the contribution of experts from over 70 countries around the world. In Italy, it was implemented by the Italian Standardization Body (UNI).
It is not a mandatory law standard, but we at Alfrus have always been attentive to social responsibilities, so that we chose to apply to our business. We have therefore undergone an audit by DNV-GI, the accreditation body recognized worldwide, and the auditors have approved and certified our integrated management model of risk prevention for safety at workplace.
