Marzipan is a product made up by sweet and bitter blanched almonds, sugar and water in certain proportions, finely separated, blended and cooked at a temperature of 100 ° C. Depending on the different products (MIC, M1, M0, etc.) and its use, it may also contain other types of sugary syrups. Marzipan is an exceptional ingredient for the production of sweets, biscuits, baked goods and drinks such as almond milk and orzata (almond drink). It is also used for the filling of pralines, chocolates and used with cooking design.

Nutrition facts

Marzipan is a sweet dough made with almonds, sugar and water. The prevalence of total energy is due to sugar and mono and polyunsaturated fats. Cholesterol is absent and the fibers are very abundant. As for mineral salts, marzipan is rich in potassium and calcium and excellent concentrations of vitamins (group B and vitamin E) are highlighted.
